Controlling a complex super robot as Mazinger Z is not straightforward. We highly recommend to read the manual to learn all available controls and options before playing.

Here is a summary of the game controls:

Great idea for someone like me who has grown watching Japanese robot animes! I just downloaded the game and I have to practice a bit. The commands are many and maybe it would be a good idea for future development to have the option of a "training" chapter for the player to become accustomed with the commands before entering the "real" game. Thanks for the idea and the great rendition

Thanks! Yeah, the "practice mode" has been requested by many and definitely I will include it. Afrodita will guide Mazinger with the joystick controls... ;)

Work in progress!!!

Thanks for your reply, I'm really waiting your amazing game!

Could you add second fire (potx) support, please?

Hello there, I was wondering if you love a game cover for this game because I can make one for you as well as the back and everything. I'm an artist btw. Tho it's gonna be a commission if you don't mind.

Is the game fully released?

No, it's still under development.

will you release .tap format?? so we can record on real cassettes and play without any special hardware.

Unfortunately not. This is a cartridge-only game, as it requires continuous multi-loading.

Que gran juego han hecho, son un equipazo tremendo!!!

Por cierto, he hecho una notita de prensa sobre el en mi web: https://retroorama.blogspot.com/2019/05/mazinger-z-c64-game-es-un-gran-homenaje.html

Hello. You should accept PayPal. This is the preferred way many like to donate or pay with.

We would, but itch.io does not currently support Paypal. It would be the most convenient way for us too ..

We have managed to activate PayPal support.

Thanks for the feedback!

I love it!! But I hope y'all plan on an NTSC version, since this won't run on my American C64. Otherwise, it's absolutely spectacular!

Yes, so far it is PAL only. We will try an NTSC version, in the meantime you can play on the C64mini.

Graphic images look absolutely fabulous! This is an artistry at its finest!

Woa. Oldskool cool!
